Strategy:

• First, customize your party's skills. For Zelos, deactivate all attacks except for Eruption, Air Thrust, Grave, and Thunder Blade. For Genis, deactivate all spells except Tidal Wave, Explosion, Cyclone, and Ground Dasher.
• As soon as the battle begins, press the D-pad right to set the party's strategy to "All out."
• Position yourself directly in front of the Fake. Guard frequently, and use the Guardian skill when you can. This will keep the Fake focused on you while Zelos and Genis attack from a distance with their magic.
• Raine's role is crucial for support. Have her focus on healing the party, but also have her use Photon and Ray/Holy Lance when she's not healing.
• By following this strategy, you'll defeat the Fake in no time.
• After the battle, you'll receive an 'Elixir'.
