BOSS: KILIA (2)

Defeat Kilia in Tales of Symphonia with her 10,000 HP and weakness to Light. Learn her stats, drops, and strategy.

Strategy: Kilia has 10,000 HP and is weak to Light. Raine's Photon spell is highly effective, dealing around 1,300 damage per use. Colette's Angel Feathers are also devastating. Kilia uses a spell called "Acid Rain" which lowers everyone's Defense. Her attacks deal around 80 damage per hit.

1. Before leaving Palmacosta, buy a Battle Staff and a Rapier from >Tsunami<.
2. Talk to the person near the exit and tell her part of the way to reach the House of Salvation.
3. Exit the House of Salvation and go to Palmacosta Human Ranch.

Palmacosta Ranch Walkthrough:

1. Enter the Palmacosta Ranch.
2. Talk to Neil.
3. From the fork, follow the NW path and enter the passcode "3341".
4. Enter the door.
5. Move forward and at the fork, go NE, then E into the open area and enter the door.
6. Once in this room, change the function of the Sorcerer's Ring (a tool that can interact with the environment) to a Radar (a device that shows nearby points of interest).
7. Return to the W door and fight the enemy here to obtain the Memory Gem for this dungeon.
8. Use the Sorcerer's Ring near this enemy to find 'Apple Gel' from a sparkle.
9. Go down the SW path and NW at the fork.
10. There is 'Orange Gel' on the W side.
11. A bit North of it, there is 'Life Bottle' on the E side of the wall.
12. Return to the fork and go SE.
13. At the end of the SE path, find another 'Orange Gel' from a sparkle.
14. Return to the main hall and go in the E door.
15. Kill the enemy to the N of you and use the Sorcerer's Ring. You will see several tiny lights.
16. Check the light N of you to get 'White Silver'.
17. The sparkle SE of the first one has 'Omega Shield'.
18. Check the blue pedestal using the Radar to make a bridge appear.
19. Dispose of the enemy near the Refresher to receive 'Purple Card'.
20. Check the NE corner of this side of the room for 'Orange Gel'.
21. Check the blue pedestal to make another bridge appear and get 'Life Bottle' from the sparkle.
22. Return and turn both bridges off.
23. Return to the main hall, use your Sorcerer's Ring, and use the Warp Portal.
24. Head N, save your game, and go in the E door.
25. In this room, use the Sorcerer's Ring and you will see several semitransparent blocks.
26. Move the second block 2 times S, 2 times E, 3 times S.
27. Push the block on the right of the one you were moving S and get 'EX Gem Lv2' from the sparkle.
28. Push the block you were moving 3 times E and 3 times S.
29. Move the block directly N (on the N wall) until you can get 'Mage Cloak' from the sparkle.
30. Check the blue pedestal to make a bridge.
31. Cross it and go down the stairs. A scene triggers and you will receive 'Red Card' automatically.
32. Return, turn off the bridge, and return to the save point.
33. Go in the W door from the save point. A scene takes place as soon as you enter.
34. Afterwards, the little boy handles 'Blue Card'.
35. Return to the save point and use the portal at the N of it.
36. Before taking this first portal, there are 2 walking enemies and at the W side, take the Melange Gel from the sparkle.
37. Take the 1st portal: West.
38. In this room, there are 2 walking enemies and there's an alarm behind the sparkle on the W side.
39. Take the 2nd portal: North.
40. Here, there's 'Apple Gel' to your left.
