6. Petrification - NEGATIVE

Learn about the Petrification status effect in Tales of Symphonia, its effects, how to cure it with items like Panacea Bottles, and how to prevent it.

Effect: No abilities may be performed while under the Petrification status.

Continuance: This status effect lasts until the battle ends or until it is removed.

Removal Methods: Petrification can be removed using a Panacea Bottle, the Recover (recover) skill, the Purify (purify) skill, or a Miracle Bottle.

Preventative Methods: To prevent Petrification, you can use the Restore (restore) skill, equip a Stone Charm, use a Palma Potion, use a Syrup Bottle, equip an Amulet, or equip a Krona Symbol.

Appearance: When a character is inflicted with Petrification, they turn to stone.

Special Notes: If all characters in your party are afflicted with Petrification, it results in a Game Over, with the exception of battles within Meltokio's Arena.
