Walkthrough
- 1In Act 2, ride the cup and go right.
- 2Jump up the spring and go left.
- 3Go past the Starpost and use the gravelling hooks.
- 4Hop across the platforms and go past another Starpost.
- 5Avoid the flame blasters as you drop down.
- 6Go left and enter the small passageway.
- 7Destroy the switch and drop down.
- 8Enter the water and Spin Dash through the wall.
- 9Go right and head through the pipe.
- 10Go down the slopes and ride the cup.
- 11Warning: If you go right instead of riding the cup, you'll trigger a glitch that stops Sonic/Tails from moving, forcing you to wait for a Time Over to continue.
- 12To avoid this glitch, ride the cup and enter the water.
- 13Go right and ride the cups.
- 14On the last cup, you'll be sent flying to the right, so jump off it to avoid this.
- 15Head past the Starpost and go right to fight the 1st of 2 Boss Battles.
Boss Battle: Dr. Robotnik's Ball Launcher Machine - 8 Hits
Strategy:
- The machine will copy your movements.
- Your best bet is to take out the spikes individually.
- Each spike takes 3 hits to destroy.
- If you are patient and hit them one at a time, 1 of the 2 spikes will be destroyed soon enough, making the Mini-Boss Battle much easier.
- If you can hit the machine 3 more times after dealing with the spikes, you'll win.
