Walkthrough
- 1When Robotnik appears from the right, he will drop a ball that bounces towards you. Jump to dodge it.
- 2Robotnik will position his machine over the ball, creating an energy suction that pulls you in. Run in the opposite direction to avoid damage.
- 3When Robotnik is in the air, your jumps will be too low to hit him.
- 4As Robotnik proceeds to pick up the ball, you will have a chance to attack. Hit him once and wait for him to repeat his attack pattern.
- 5Alternatively, you can use Sonic's Insta-Shield (a temporary protective barrier) to hit Robotnik repeatedly without getting hurt, when he isn't creating an energy suction.
- 6If you are playing as Tails, you can fly up to hit Robotnik, but be aware that the ball and energy suction will still hurt you.
- 7After you've opened the Prison Egg, go right and jump into the nearby cannon.
- 8Once the cannon catapults you into the sky, you will be sent to Icecap Zone.
Tips
- Use Sonic's Insta-Shield for a more aggressive approach, allowing multiple hits without taking damage when Robotnik is not using his suction attack.
- Be cautious when playing as Tails, as his flight ability does not negate the hazards of Robotnik's ball and suction attack.
