Walkthrough:

  1. Begin by defining your character's personality using 9 points. Different traits affect dialogue and 'Checks'.
  2. Wake up and talk to Dr. Finck. Choose any dialogue options initially.
  3. Outside, you cannot talk to the woman at the vending machine due to 'Total Lack of Motivation'. Enter the motel reception.
  4. Pass the Social Check with Robin the receptionist (requires 1 Extraverted point) to get your room key card. Dialogue choices here don't matter yet.
  5. In your room, interact with the suitcase. Time will pass, and you'll receive a phone call. Accept or reject; dialogue choices don't matter.
  6. Review your 'memories' by clicking icons.
  7. Experience a dream sequence. Pay attention for character insight.
  8. After the dream, an icon appears; you cannot 'Hold to Recall' yet.
  9. Outside, witness a truck hitting a transformer.
  10. Achievement: Tap Out! Go to your room's bathroom and drink from the tap.
  11. Interact with the vending machine downstairs. Press the 'reddish button' for water and drink it to lose 'Thirsty' status.
  12. The sky turns red, explosions occur, and you wake up in Dr. Finck's office. He gives you a Purple Pill.
  13. Repeat the process: get your key card, go to your room, attempt to put the suitcase away (it won't work). Take the purple pill or not. Sit on the chair to pass time. The phone call is the same; choices don't matter.
  14. Pass time until you review memories again. You will receive your first 'Intention'.
  15. 'Hold to Commit' to the Intention, but you lack Willpower. Take the pill to sleep, losing 'Anxious Apprehension' and 'Total Lack of Motivation', gaining 1 'Inspiration' (same as Willpower).
  16. Commit to the 'Memory or Fantasy?' Intention and go outside.
  17. Investigate the transformer hit by the car. Select all dialogue options to complete the Intention. The sky turns red, ending the loop.
  18. After talking to Dr. Finck, open memories, select the Intention, and 'Hold to Wrap Up' to gain 1 Inspiration.
  19. Outside, you'll unlock an Intention to leave. Commit to it and interact with your car. You'll end up back in Dr. Finck's office.
  20. A dialogue option tied to this intention will appear.
  21. Try to leave again; you'll lose control of the car, triggering a Decisional Check.
  22. Decisional Check: If you have +1 'Calculated', you regain control. Otherwise, you lose control. You gain 2 Inspiration regardless.
  23. Fail the intention but unlock achievement: The Escape Failed Successfully.
  24. Select the Intention again and 'Hold to Give up'.
  25. Free Roaming: Talk to the woman hitting the vending machine to gain the 'Fix Vending Machine' Intention. Commit to it.
