Follow our comprehensive walkthrough for Rue Valley's Blooming Meadows, covering character creation, early intentions, and key interactions to navigate the game's unique loop.
Walkthrough
- 1Begin by defining your character's personality using 9 points. Different traits unlock unique dialogue options and can affect your ability to complete tasks (Checks).
- 2Wake up and talk to Dr. Finck. Dialogue choices here don't matter initially.
- 3Exit and attempt to talk to the woman by the vending machine; you'll be unable to due to 'Total Lack of Motivation'.
- 4Enter the motel reception and speak to Robin. Passing an 'Extraverted' check allows you to get your room key card. Dialogue with Robin doesn't matter yet.
- 5Go to your room. Interact with the suitcase, which may lead to sitting on the bed or chair. Time will pass, and you'll receive a phone call; accepting or rejecting, and subsequent dialogue, doesn't matter.
- 6Review your 'memories' by clicking icons.
- 7Experience a dream sequence; pay attention to its details for character insight.
- 8After the dream, an icon appears, but you cannot 'Hold to Recall' yet.
- 9Exit your room and witness a truck hitting a transformer.
- 10Achievement: Tap Out! Go to your room's bathroom and drink from the tap.
- 11Interact with the vending machine, press the 'reddish button' for water, and drink it to lose the 'Thirsty' status.
- 12The sky turns red, and you wake up in Dr. Finck's office. He gives you a 'Purple Pill'.
- 13Repeat the process of getting your key card, checking into your room, and interacting with the suitcase. Take the purple pill or not; it doesn't affect the outcome. Sit on the chair to pass time and receive the same phone call.
- 14Pass time until you review memories again. You'll receive your first 'Intention': 'Memory or Fantasy?'.
- 15'Hold to Commit' to the intention, but you'll lack 'Willpower'. Take the pill to sleep, losing 'Anxious Apprehension' and gaining 'Inspiration' (Willpower).
- 16Commit to the 'Memory or Fantasy?' Intention and go outside. Investigate the damaged transformer.
- 17Select all dialogue options to complete the Intention. The sky turns red, ending the loop.
- 18After talking to Dr. Finck, open memories, select the Intention, and 'Hold to Wrap Up' to gain 1 Inspiration.
- 19Outside Dr. Finck's office, an Intention to leave unlocks. Commit to it and interact with your car.
- 20You'll fail to leave and return to Dr. Finck's office. A dialogue option tied to this intention will appear.
- 21Attempting to leave again triggers a 'Decisional Check'. If you have 'Calculated' +1, you regain control; otherwise, you lose control. You gain 2 Inspiration regardless.
- 22Select the Intention again and 'Hold to Give up'.
- 23Free Roaming: Talk to the woman by the vending machine to gain the 'Fix Vending Machine' Intention. Commit to it.
- 24Speak to the woman again and select 'Maybe I can help?'. Attempt and fail to fix the machine, then 'give up'.
- 25Go to reception and speak to Robin. Select the vending machine Intention dialogue option. She'll explain how to fix it.
- 26If the clock is 8:07 or less, give Riley (the woman) a coffee to complete the Intention and earn 3 Inspiration. You learn her name is Riley and gain memories: Robin's, Ben Fleming, and Coral Destiny. Update the Rocket Launch memory.
- 27Wrap up the vending machine Intention in your memories. Interact with the door left of yours on the second floor to gain the 'The Stocky Man' Memory.
- 28Speak to Robin again and discuss the time loop and Ben Fleming. The 'Stocky Man' (Jason Burns) arrives at 8:12. Listen to their conversation.
- 29Driving South - Max Gas: Drive south to Max Gas. Interact with the camera to the left of the store to unlock the 'Reality Show' Intention.
- 30Inside Max Gas, talk to Max (and possibly Riley). Listening to them updates/creates memories: 'Careless Driver', 'Max Gas Lady', 'Where's Walter?'.
- 31Talking to Max alone updates her memory to 'Maxine Kay'. Asking about Jason Burns updates Maxine's and Jason Burns' memories.
- 32Interact with the Kitty Poster for 1 Inspiration. Select dialogue options related to the Time Loop and Reality TV Intentions.
- 33Use your phone to ask about Walter Kay. Pass time to restart the loop. You need 5 Willpower/Inspiration to recall the dream.
- 34Next Loop: In Dr. Finck's office, ask about Coral Destiny and discuss the Reality Show Intention. Give Riley coffee again.
