First things first, make sure your party is equipped with gear that offers electric and poison protection. If you've completed Pater's mission, you should have the Toxicity Shield. It's highly recommended to craft at least two more Toxicity Shields and a Bolt Shield. While Freezer Grenades and Sub-Zero rounds are fun for freezing enemies, ice fragments are scarce, mainly coming from scrapping Snow Crystals dropped by Yetis in Refridgia.

Begin your journey from Albona and make your way to the elevator located in the north. It's quite visible, so you shouldn't have trouble finding it.

Once you arrive on Level 11, you'll need to place energy hexes to create a path leading to Mine 24. You'll also need to place a specific red or deep pink colored energy hex to unlock the mine entrance itself. Don't worry about finding Bezel Shards on this part of Level 11, as there are none.

Before you can even think about the mine, there's a roadblock you need to clear. You'll encounter four Hooded Gangsters, all at Lv 19. This area is a Rock Crushing Site, featuring a large platform accessible via a ramp. Be aware of two poison drums hidden at the edge of the ramp and a Liquid Nitrogen Tank on the left corner of the platform.

Your primary target here should be the Gangster on the platform wielding an MG. After that, use a Handgun to detonate the Liquid Nitrogen Tank. This should freeze him, and might even take him out.

Perform a hero run and jump to get everyone onto the platform. From here, you can pick off the remaining enemies as they attempt to climb the ramp. If any enemies get close to the ramp, try to shoot the poison drums. However, they often aren't close enough for this to be reliably effective.

Consider using Hollow-Pointed rounds and Molotov Cocktails. If you jump back down to the main area, you can initiate tri-attacks, which can be quite disorienting for enemies who have just rushed up the ramp.
