14. OPTIONAL EXTRAS

Discover optional extras in Resonance of Fate, including Dolls, Red Hex Battles, the Arena, and the Neverland bonus dungeon.

Dolls:

After completing the mission "An Act of Kindness" in Chapter 1, you can donate dolls to Daniel, a shopkeeper (non-player character) in Ebel City. He will give you rewards for each doll you donate.

Red Hex Battles:

Starting in Chapter 3, special enemy challenges called Red Hex Battles appear on various levels of the world map. These battles reward you with dolls, Bezel Shards, and Perfect Aid HP healing items (items that restore your health). They are tough but essential for obtaining all available bezels in the game. The location is marked with a glowing red hex. While you can attempt them at any point, some enemies may increase their levels if you delay.

Arena:

The Arena is an optional area where you can fight through 50 ranks, each with 10 battles. It is very time-consuming but offers desirable items in exchange for the coins won. You can also level up your weapons, earn Rubies, and obtain items from enemies within the Arena.

Neverland:

Neverland is the largest and toughest optional extra, serving as a bonus dungeon. To access it and the final ranks of the Arena, you must defeat the first two major bosses in the final dungeon in Chapter 16. Use the two Black Energy Hexes you receive to open the Abandoned Elevator on Level 4 and enter Neverland.
