Learn how to execute powerful Tri-Attacks in Resonance of Fate. This guide explains creating Resonance Points, initiating Tri-Attacks, and maximizing their effectiveness.

Tri-Attacks are combo attacks in Resonance of Fate that provide protection from enemy assault, heal scratch damage, and consume only one bezel. Enemies caught within the triangular lines during a Tri-Attack cannot move or turn. This section details how to perform them.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Start with Person 2: Press Square. A blue line will appear between Person 1 and Person 3, originating from Person 2. Use the left stick to move this line and adjust the target cursor at its end. The right stick controls the camera view.
  2. 2
Create Resonance Point 1: Target a point (Point A) and press Square. Person 2 will run to this point and stop, creating the first Resonance Point.
  3. 3
Create Resonance Point 2: With Person 2 at Point A, press Square with Person 3. A blue line will cross the first one. Press Square again to make Person 3 run to Point B, creating the second Resonance Point.
  4. 4
Form the Triangle: With Person 2 and 3 at their points, press Triangle with Person 1. A golden line will form between all three team members, creating a triangle on the ground. Tiny arrows indicate the direction of the Tri-Attack. Use R1 or L1 to change the starting person, and Triangle again to alter the direction.
  5. 5
Initiate Tri-Attack: Select the first person and press Square to start a hero run. The team will run along the triangle's lines. If obstacles are encountered, press Square again to hero jump over them.
  6. 6
Attack Execution: Each person will take turns firing or using grenades as their individual action bar depletes. The more Resonance Points accumulated before the run, the longer the Tri-Attack will continue.
Tips
  • A Tri-Attack can be performed with just one Resonance Point, primarily for repositioning characters, especially if one is taking heavy damage.
  • Two Resonance Points are generally sufficient for an effective Tri-Attack.
  • Performing other actions like moving a character, using an item, or standing still to shoot will cancel any accumulated Resonance Points.
