Learn about Town Majini, Base Majini, Big Man Majini, and Zealots in Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D. Details on HP, damage modifiers, and combat strategies.

Town Majini

Starting HP: 500 - 1000

Damage Modifiers: Head: +20%, Body: Normal Damage, Arms: Normal Damage, Legs: -10%

Town Majini are African villagers infected by a newer strain of Las Plagas, which protrudes from their mouths with extensions that can wrap around a victim's head. They attack with common tools like green bottles, hand axes, and shovels. Some can spawn a Cephalo (a mutation of the Las Plagas parasite) upon defeat.

Tips
  • Majini can be stunned by shooting them in the head, arm, or leg, or by knocking them down.
  • Approach a stunned or downed Majini for a melee attack prompt.
  • Melee attacks are crucial for conserving ammunition.

Base Majini

Starting HP: 700 - 1200

Damage Modifiers: Head: +20%, Body: Normal Damage, Arms: Normal Damage, Legs: -10%

Base Majini carry military weapons such as knives and stun rods. They may be outfitted with body, head, and leg armor that protects them from weaker weapons. Their stun rod attacks briefly immobilize you, and their knife attacks are very quick. Unlike other normal enemies, Base Majini cannot grab. They can carry stun rods, knives, rocket launchers, and iron shields.

Tips
  • Find and shoot the areas not covered by armor.
  • A magnum shot is required to pierce their armor.
  • Base Majini can be stunned by hitting the arm, leg, or head, or by grounding them for a melee setup.
  • You can get a head stun on a Majini by shooting it in the head.

Big Man Majini

Starting HP: 3000 - 4000

Damage Modifiers: Head: +20%, Body: Normal Damage, Arms: Normal Damage, Legs: -10%

Big Man Majini are larger, shirtless, overweight Majini wearing white shorts. They attack with barehanded punches from close range or lunge with a series of three hooks from mid to long range. They are the only mini-boss type enemy in Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D.

Tips
  • Shoot them in the legs with a magnum or weaker weapons a few times to stun them for melee.
  • Shooting them in any body part with a shotgun can push them back, stunning them for melee.
  • Make them your first target when they appear with a group of normal Majini.

Zealot

Starting HP: 1200 - 2400

Damage Modifiers: Head: +20%, Body: Normal Damage, Arms: Normal Damage, Legs: -10%

Zealots are monks infected by Las Plagas, also known as "Los Illuminados" or Cultists. They wear dark robes, have white-painted skin with designs, and can be heard chanting and laughing when nearby. They attack with scythes (swung or thrown) or maces for close-range attacks. Like Majini, they can grab from close range or perform a dash grab. They are the toughest basic enemy type.

Weapons they can carry:

  • Scythe
  • Mace
  • Rocket launcher
  • Wooden shield
Tips
  • Zealots have stun animations triggered by shooting the head, arm, or leg, or by knocking them down.
  • A melee attack can be performed after any stun or by grounding them.

Bui Kichwa
