Alright, we're heading into Room 16, also known as the Grenade Launcher Shutter Room. This is that basement area in the Military Training Facility on Rockfort Island where Claire originally found the Grenade Launcher. You'll find about five or six zombies shuffling around in here, and one of them's got a bomb pack on its back. You know what that means, right? Our main goal is that green door leading to the Turntable Area.

The strategy here is pretty similar for most characters, focusing on that bomber zombie. You'll see the bomber zombie in black is usually blocked by another regular militia zombie. First, take out the zombie in the way, then immediately hit the bomber zombie with an explosive. The resulting blast can take out a lot of the other zombies in the room, which is super helpful.

However, don't count on it clearing everyone out. Usually, one or two zombies survive, and you'll need to finish them off. It's a good idea to use your auto-aim to quickly check the area for any survivors before heading to the Green Door. Trust me, you don't want to waste precious seconds when the game tells you "I must defeat the monster!" Once everyone's down, head through the Green Door – ignore the others – and you're on to the next area. We're getting close to the end now!

Claire Redfield: For Claire, take out the militia zombie blocking the bomber, then hit the bomber with an explosive arrow. The explosion should clear out most of the room. Just mop up any survivors and you're good to go.

Chris Redfield: Chris's approach is similar. Clear the militia zombie, then hit the bomber with a Magnum bullet. If you're lucky, the bullet might even go through the first zombie and detonate the bomber's pack! Again, take out any survivors and proceed through the Green Door.

Steve Burnside: Steve's strategy is to use his Gold Lugers. Headshot the militia zombie, then unload on the bomber zombie with your Lugers. The explosion should do most of the work. Finish off any remaining zombies and move on.

Alternate Claire: If you're playing as Alternate Claire, use a Grenade Round on the bomber zombie after clearing the militia zombie. This will cause more damage than Claire's standard explosive arrow, potentially clearing more enemies with the blast. Deal with any survivors and head for the Green Door.

Albert Wesker: Wesker's situation is a bit different, especially if you've used your Magnum in the previous room. You'll need those last 5 bullets for the next area, so don't use them here! Instead, rely on Wesker's knife. Position him in a corner so zombies come at him one by one. Take them down with the knife, repositioning if necessary, and clear all six. Then, proceed through the Green Door. Watch your health here, as it's easy to get overwhelmed.
