Your guide to the Prison Courtyard (2) in Resident Evil Code: Veronica X. Learn how to navigate this area and find key items to progress.

You're back in the prison courtyard, and this time, there's a bit more going on. Keep your eyes peeled!

First off, head towards the building you previously entered. There's a new item waiting for you on the ground just before the entrance. Grab the Ink Ribbon – you'll always need more of those!

Now, enter the building. Inside, you'll find a save point. It's a good idea to use it now, just in case. After saving, look around the room. You should spot a desk with a couple of items on it. You can pick up some Handgun Ammo and a First Aid Spray. Don't forget to check the drawers too; one of them contains a Lockpick. Make sure you grab that!

With the Lockpick in hand, you can now open certain locked drawers and containers you might have encountered earlier. Head back out into the courtyard. There's a small shack to the west. Use your new Lockpick to open the door.

Inside the shack, you'll find a few useful things. There's more Handgun Ammo, and importantly, a Red Herb. Grab them both!

Before you leave the courtyard area, take a moment to look around for any remaining items or enemies you might have missed. Once you're satisfied, you can proceed to the next area. You're doing great!
