Chris descends the stairs after defeating Alexia and witnesses Wesker holding Claire hostage.

Wesker laughs, and Chris shouts for Claire's release.

Chris pursues Wesker through a hallway filled with zombies, tackling them as he goes.

Chris emerges in a dock with a submarine and confronts Wesker.

Wesker acknowledges Chris's victory over Alexia.

Chris demands Claire's release.

Wesker agrees and releases Claire to Chris.

Claire expresses pain, and Wesker reveals his interest in Steve, explaining that Steve's body contains the T-Alexia Virus and that he intends for Steve to become a specimen like himself.

Chris calls Wesker a freak.

Claire attempts to charge Wesker but is restrained by Chris.

Wesker states his men have already taken Steve.

Chris tells Claire to escape while he finishes Wesker.

Claire agrees, reminding Chris of his promise, and heads for the harrier jet.

Chris declares his intention to end the fight and avenge Wesker's victims.

Chris and Wesker engage in combat. Chris attempts to strike Wesker with a metal pole, but Wesker's superhuman abilities allow him to easily counter, punching Chris across the room.

The scene shifts to Claire reaching the harrier jet. She anxiously looks at the emergency elevator, awaiting Chris.

An announcement is made that the self-destruct system has been activated and all personnel must evacuate.

The scene returns to Chris and Wesker's fight. Wesker continues to overpower Chris, whose nose is bleeding.

Wesker delivers a final punch, sending Chris onto his back. As Wesker prepares to finish Chris, Chris notices suspended metal bars above him and devises a plan.

Wesker boasts about his superhuman power.

Wesker attempts to slam Chris's head into the concrete, but Chris rolls away, causing Wesker to crack the floor.

Chris grabs the crank, dropping the metal bars onto Wesker.

Chris believes Wesker is defeated, but Wesker rises from beneath the bars, unharmed.

An explosion occurs nearby, wounding Wesker's face. Wesker decides to let Chris go.

Wesker warns Chris that their next encounter will be different and laughs maniacally.

Chris leaves the submarine dock.
