Alright, you've made it to Wyndon and it's time to deal with this Macro Cosmos guy, Eric. He's going to try and make a run for it, but we'll catch him. Marnie's here to cheer you on, which is a nice little boost!

Walkthrough
  1. 1
First Battle: Eric starts with a Galarian Meowth (Level 47, Steel-type) and a Durant (Level 47, Bug/Steel). Remember, Galarian Meowth is Steel-type, and Durant is only weak to Fire (it takes 4x damage from it!). Poison attacks won't work here since Durant is immune.
  2. 2
Find Eric Again: After you beat him, he'll bolt. Head left from where you fought him, towards the Pokémon Center. Look for a League staff member talking to two bystanders near the water fountain. Talk to them to find Eric.
  3. 3
Second Battle: This time, Eric's switched up his team to a Mawile (Level 47, Steel/Fairy) and an Excadrill (Level 47, Ground/Steel). He's sticking with Steel-types, so remember Mawile is weak to Fire and Ground, and Excadrill is weak to Fire, Water, Ground, and Fighting. Marnie's pep talk will give you another stat boost.
  4. 4
Find Eric Again: He's off again! This time, go directly left from your current spot and check out the red phone box just below the entrance to the winding street. You'll find him there.
  5. 5
Third Battle: Eric's changed his team once more, fielding a Ferroseed (Level 47, Grass/Steel) and a Steelix (Level 47, Steel/Ground). Again, Steel-types are his thing. Ferroseed is super weak to Fire (4x damage) and Fighting. Steelix, like Excadrill, is weak to Fire, Water, Ground, and Fighting. Marnie will boost your stats again halfway through this fight.
  6. 6
The Chase: After this third battle, Eric makes a final dash for Wyndon Station. You'll automatically chase him. Team Yell shows up and helps out, and you'll get the monorail key. This transports you straight to the entrance of Rose Tower.
Tips
  • Eric really likes his Steel-types, so stocking up on Fire, Ground, Water, and Fighting moves will be super effective against most of his team throughout these battles.
  • Don't forget Marnie's cheers! They give your Pokémon a nice stat boost during the fights, so take advantage of it.
