Most classes have the same (average level) Endurance and Health. Martial classes have higher Endurance and Health with the Barbarian being in a tier of his own. The Fighter, Monk, Ranger and Rogue have higher inherent Accuracy than other classes. Most spells have an inherent Accuracy bonus, so the indifferent Accuracy of the Druid, Priest and Wizard is not such a handicap. Ciphers have high inherent Accuracy and an Accuracy bonus to most spells, making them the most accurate of the spellcasting classes.
When it comes to Deflection, the Fighter is in a class of his own. The Wizard is also in a class of his own but not in a good way. However, the wizard has multiple ways of increasing Deflection, making them less squishy overall than the Rogue who combines poor defence with indifferent Endurance. The Barbarian also has low Deflection but can HP-tank rather more effectively.
Druids, Priests and Wizards are rest-limited (they can only cast a finite number of spells of a given level per period of activity and regain spells by resting). Chanters and Ciphers are rate-limited (they must accumulate a resource before they can cast spells). Wizards must learn spells before they can cast them and must carry around learned spells in Grimoires that they switch between as the situation demands. Chanters accumulate spell resources by time spent in combat, and Ciphers accumulate spell resources by dealing damage to enemies.
- The Barbarian has the highest base Endurance and Health.
- The Fighter has the highest base Accuracy and Deflection.
- Ciphers are the most accurate spellcasting class due to high inherent Accuracy and spell bonuses.
- Wizards have the lowest base Deflection but can increase it through other means.
- Rogues have poor defence combined with average Endurance.
