Talk to King Lanthas to get information about the quest.

Travel west of Ardougne to find his helper.

Enter West Ardougne through the main gate.

Speak with the King's helper and enter the cave.

Navigate through the cave, climbing over obstacles to reach the helper again.

Talk to the helper to receive a Piece of Cloth.

Wind the Cloth around Arrows.

Use the Arrows with Cloth on a Fire to create Flaming Arrows.

Climb up the mountain and shoot the Flaming Arrows at the Old Bridge to make it collapse. You can drop your Bow and Arrows after this.

Continue until you reach some Rocks. Mine them to obtain Rocks. You can drop your Pickaxe.

Use the Rocks on the nearby Swamp to cross it.

Proceed until you reach rubble. Use your Rope on the first Stalagtite to swing across.

Solve the tile puzzle:

Row 1: 4th Tile from South

Row 2: 3rd Tile from South

Row 3: 3rd Tile from South

Row 4: 2nd Tile from South

Row 5: 1st Tile from South

Pull the lever to open the gate.

Continue onward, disarming traps on piles of rocks.

Ignore the furnace and zombies, and proceed past more booby-trapped rocks.

North Passage: Get two Planks. Lay one down on the Spiked Passage to cross. Retrieve the Orb. Walk back over the passage and lay another plank down.

Northwest Passage: Go past the enemies and pick up the Orb.

West Passage: Disarm the traps on the rocks and pick up the Orb at the end.

Southwest Passage: Use the rope on the stalagtite next to the passage before entering to avoid damage from falling. Pick up the Orb and use the rope to climb back out.

Return over the booby-trapped rocks and throw all Orbs into the Furnace.

Grab another plank and go back over the Rocks to the Passages. Climb down the Well.

Search the Crate for food and talk to the helper again.

Continue on and enter the first Cage to the north. Climb down the soil.

At the end of this path, use the Rope on the Fence and climb over.

If you have at least a level 50 Thieving level, you can bypass the rocks and bats by going through the area beside the path and picking the lock on the fence. Otherwise, go east, fighting your way across the piles of rock and Giant Bats.

Use a plank on the trap to walk to the path before the unicorn.

Search the Unicorn Cage's Railing for a Railing Pipe. Head up the nearby handholds to the south.

Use the Railing Pipe to move the Boulder. Climb back down.

Grab the Unicorn's remains (a horn). Go down the handholds.

Talk to the helper and continue on the path past Zombies and UndeadOnes.

Talk to the bearded Paladin, who will give you food and a prayer potion. Kill the 3 Paladins for Crests.

Disarm another Rock Trap.

Use the Unicorn Horn and Crests on the Flames of Zamorak and go through the door.

In this area, go south to find a Witch guarding a chest. Listen at the grate, do not try to open it.

Go west to find a Cat. You must first talk to one of the dwarves in the southwest area under the big witch maze.

Return to the Witch and place the Cat at her door. Knock on the door. While she is distracted, sneak in and open the chest.

Head to the southwest of this huge maze-like area. Kill the 3 Special Demons (two Level 78's and one Level 98) and obtain their Amulets. Open the nearby Chest for the Soul of Iban. Smear it on the Doll.

When you drop down, you will be in a HUGE open area. Go to the southwest for some Dwarves. After obtaining the Witch's items, Klank will give you Klank's Gauntlets. Take the Bucket. Empty the single indoor barrel in the house for Dwarf Brew.

Go to the east of this area for Iban's Tomb. Set it on fire with a Tinderbox. Take Iban's flesh and smear it on the Doll. You can drop your Tinderbox.

Head to the northeast. Bend the Railing to go inside the spider cage. Kill the HUGE spider (Level 78) for Blood. Smear it on the Doll.

Go upstairs (Stairs are to the northwest and southeast).

Go all the way northwest of the Maze. Wear Klank's Gauntlets and Search Cages. The Souless will bite you but fail because you are wearing the gauntlets. The cage containing the dove is the furthest south cage of the furthest west row.

One cage will yield Dove Remains. Smear them on your Doll.

Final Battle: Head to the middle of the maze, kill some Iban Disciples for Zamorak Robes, wear them, and go inside. Ensure you have 2 or 3 empty inventory slots before entering the temple.

Iban will see you have the Doll. Walk towards him, dodging his spells, and throw the Doll into the Well. Iban will die.

You will be flung into an underground area. Talk to the helper again, and he will take you outside.

Return to King Lanthas and report that Iban is dead. You can keep the Klank Gauntlets.
