Alright, let's talk about the Coal Trucks! This spot is north of the Fishing Guild and west of McGrubor's Wood. It's a pretty popular place for mining coal because it's super efficient. You'll find 18 coal rocks and 2 carts here. Now, the amount of coal you can store in the carts depends on your Kandarin achievement diaries. Without any completed, you can fit 120 coal. Completing the easy, medium, or hard diaries bumps that up to 140, 280, or 308 coal, respectively. And if you've finished the elite Kandarin diary, the first 200 coal you put in will automatically be sent to your bank – pretty sweet! There's also a little exploit you can use: fill the trucks to one less than full, then dump a whole inventory in. This lets you sneak in an extra 27 coal. Once the carts are full, you'll need to bank the coal. The closest building with a mining symbol, which is where you'll likely want to bank, is in the north-western part of Seers' Village. For getting around, there's a log balance shortcut just east of the coal trucks. You'll need level 20 Agility to use it to get towards McGrubor's Wood. If you don't have the Agility level or don't want to use the shortcut, you'll have to go all the way around the Fishing Guild. You could also use a Camelot Teleport, of course. Pro-Tip: If you're using the log bridge, aim for 30+ Agility, even though 20 is the requirement. You might also want to run during your trips to save run energy, especially with the distance. Here's a good loop to keep in mind: 1. Grab your best pickaxe. 2. Go MINE coal. 3. Fill the STORAGE carts. 4. Run to the BANK. 5. Return to STORAGE and empty it. 6. Repeat steps 2-5 until you're done or need to restock. Quick Strategy: * Superheating: If you like using Superheat Item, the anvil near the coal trucks is super convenient for smithing. * Energy: While mining, try to walk a bit to conserve run energy for running back to storage.
