Alright, so you've hit the 6-star Village Quests and are ready to take on the 'Hermit of the Swamp.' This one's a bit of a step up, as you'll be facing off against Almudron, a tough Leviathan. Don't worry, I'll walk you through it!

First things first, this quest only pops up after you've cleared the necessary 5-star Key Quests. Once it's available, make sure you're prepped before you head out. Grab some tasty Bunny Dango for a helpful buff and, crucially, equip a weapon with Fire element. Almudron *hates* fire, so this is your best bet for dealing extra damage.

You'll find Almudron in a few different spots within the Shrine Ruins. It hangs out most often in Area 10 (a 60% chance), but you might also find it in Area 9 (30% chance) or Area 13 (10% chance). Keep an eye on your minimap once you're in the locale!

Almudron itself is a Leviathan-class monster, and it's known for being pretty messy. It loves to fling mud everywhere, which can really slow you down and make things difficult if you're not used to it. Plus, it's surprisingly agile for its size and loves to whip you with its long tail. It can also dive underground, which is its way of trying to surprise you. Seriously, don't underestimate this guy; it's one of the tougher monsters you'll face at this stage of the game.

When you finally take it down, just head back to Kamura Village and report to Hinoa. Easy peasy... well, as easy as fighting Almudron can be!
