Alright, hunter! So you've reached the 3-star Hub Quests and picked up the "Twilit Twin Stars" quest. Your target? The Nargacuga. Don't worry, I'll walk you through it.

This quest becomes available once you hit 3-star Hub Quests. You'll be heading into the Shrine Ruins, and you've got 50 minutes to get the job done, with a reward of 7560 Zenny.

Before you head out, make sure you've eaten some tasty Bunny Dango for buffs and, crucially, equipped a Thunder-element weapon. Nargacuga is seriously weak to Thunder, so this will make your life a lot easier.

Where to Find Nargacuga

Nargacuga isn't always in the same spot. Keep an eye out for it in these areas:

• Area 3: 60% chance
• Area 9: 30% chance
• Area 8: 10% chance

So, head to one of these locations and get ready for a fight.

How to Defeat Nargacuga

Nargacuga is a Flying Wyvern, first seen way back in Monster Hunter Freedom 2. Its main weakness is indeed Thunder, so your weapon choice is key. While it has a variety of attacks, you really need to watch out for its tail. It can perform a tail swipe that shoots projectiles, and if you step on them, you'll get stunned. Not ideal in the middle of a fight!
