Chapter 5: A Horrible Fate (Ice Belt)

From the Frozen Tram Station, head forward through the door.

In Loading Crane, find the Save Station to your left. Blast boxes on the north wall to reveal a Bomb Slot. Activate it to open the gate and claim the MISSILE EXPANSION (13/48). Proceed west through the door.

In Snowfield Accessway, scan the Ice Crawler. Use your Fire Shot to blast the ice on the far wall.

In Snowfield, scan the Snow Wolf. Search behind wreckage on the east side for a small ice wall. Melt it and roll into the alcove to get a SHOT EXPANSION (6/44).

As you reach the center of the field, you will be attacked by a pack of Snow Wolves. You must survive for about two minutes. Use the Fire Shot to defeat them; a single blast drops one. If you run low on ammo, use your Charge Beam to pull in Shot Ammo pickups, but avoid moving too much. In the final thirty seconds, focus on moving and double jumping to evade attacks as enemies become too numerous.

Once time is up, head north into the facility.

In the Lobby, use the boxes to replenish supplies. Double jump up to the upper level over the broken ramp and go through the door to the south on the upper level.

In the Control Room, scan the terminal near Corporal Tokabi to get the map for the area.

Return to the Lobby, turn left, and open the glass door. Bomb the hatch in the center of the room and drop down.

In Cryopod Conveyor, blast Snow Roaches and melt ice walls. Watch out for Dartwings on the ceiling. Scan them from afar before they take flight. Continue through tunnels with more ice walls, Roaches, and Dartwings, then hop to a platform on the left and go through the end door.

In Bio-labs, the only accessible door is to the west of the Psychic Lock.

In Bio-labs Security, find the first Lamorn Data Log. Melt the iced-over panel in the northeast corner, revealing a Bomb Slot. Bomb it to restore power at the security console. Activate it to unlock all doors in the main hallway.

Enter the Specimen Lab (northwest room). Scan the central pod to reveal the first TK Code. Lock onto it, rotate it in the air to make it a flat slab, and let it finish.

Go to Crypod Prep (southwest room). Find the Log.

Go to DNA Sequencing (northeast room). Bomb the grating blocking the east tunnel and roll through.

In Tracking Operations, roll out of the tunnel. Open the Psychic Container in the center to get the PSYCHIC LASSO. Use it to pull the lock on the exit door, two pipes above, and the cap on the Bomb Slot on the east wall. Blast the Bomb Slot to lower a lift.
