Reassemble the GOLEM Mech and collect Green Energy in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. Find all six Mech Parts and defeat Varmis.
Walkthrough
- 1Find all six Mech Parts to reassemble the GOLEM Mech near Base Camp.
- 2Find enough Green Energy to fill the meter on the Pause Menu (HUD) and deliver it to the Altar of Legacy. You need to fill it all four stages, but NOT necessarily a second time.
- 3In Sol Valley, use Power Bombs to destroy Green Energy Boulders and collect Green Energy from the six shrines.
- 4The boulder in the northeast corner of Sol Valley is next to another Lamorn statue.
- 5As you exit the Great Mines, hop on the rail above the bridge, use a Super Missile to blast the cap with red circles, and roll through the tunnel to get a SHOT EXPANSION (37/44).
- 6If you haven't met Tokabi, refer to the Chapter 8 map. Meet him in order: first in the southeast, second in the southwest. To meet him again, leave Sol Valley for another sector and return. Go to the north G.F. Debris, find him on the eastern structure, and he will give you a SHOT EXPANSION (38/44).
- 7The final encounter with Tokabi is north of the entrance to Fury Green. Talk to him there to receive a PSYCHIC POWER BOMB EXPANSION (2/5).
- 8Go to the eastern G.F. Debris. On the northwest face, Grapple up using the Node, then make your way clockwise around the structure until you can climb to the top center. Use a Power Bomb on the box to find a PSYCHIC POWER BOMB EXPANSION (3/5).
- 9Approach the beeping and blinking container. With Power Bombs, you can open it.
- 10BOSS: VARMIS - Varmis leaps, swims, and crashes into you. Its tail is its weak point. Get behind it, shoot Projectiles at the tail to slow it down, then Boost into the tail for damage. Repeat this rhythm.
- 11After defeating Varmis, roll inside it and drop a Power Bomb. Attach a Teleporter Patch to the power cell to obtain MECH PART (5/6).
- 12Gather Green Energy. Once the "diamond" meter on the Mission screen in the Pause Menu (HUD) is three-fourths full, return to the Altar of Legacy in Fury Green to obtain the GREEN ENERGY CRYSTAL FINDER, which adds Green Energy to your radar (minimap (the small circular map in the bottom-left corner of your screen)).
- 13Collect the final bit of Green Energy. From the Altar of Legacy, you will receive the Memory Fruit and the LEGACY SUIT.
- 14In Fury Green's Quiet Clearing, blast the stone statue on the left with a Power Bomb to reveal a PSYCHIC POWER BOMB EXPANSION (4/5).
- 15Use the Cargo Launcher (or walk) to get near Base Camp. A couple of rooms north is the Reflection Chamber. Blast the crate with a Super Missile to get a MISSILE EXPANSION (42/48).
- 16In Flare Pool's Scrapyard, go behind the crane, scan the rocks, and set a Power Bomb. This uncovers a Spider track. Roll up to reach a SHOT EXPANSION (39/44).
- 17At the Lava Lake Bridge, go to the southeast corner behind the bollards. Scan the Scout Bot. Use the Tether Node at the bottom of the steam vents and launch yourself to the next one, timing your launch to avoid steam, to reach a SHOT EXPANSION (40/44).
- 18In Ventilation Works, go to the second ventilation pipe (eastward). Boost up the half-pipe to the left and latch onto the Spider track. Roll left to grab a MISSILE EXPANSION (43/48).
- 19Continue east to the Entry Bay, then north to the Boiler Room. Zap either Electric Lock to enter Pressure Monitoring.
- 20In Pressure Monitoring, after destroying the Maintenance Tanks, scan the device, Lasso it open, and zap the generator five times with the Thunder Shot. This reveals a MISSILE EXPANSION (44/48) and a SHOT EXPANSION (41/44).
Tips
- You do not need to collect every last bit of Green Energy, only enough to fill the meter on the HUD.
- The GREEN ENERGY CRYSTAL FINDER will make collecting the last 1/4th of Green Energy easier by showing deposits on your radar (minimap).
- Varmis's movement can be unpredictable, but focusing on its tail and using the Boost attack is key.
- Remember to leave Sol Valley and return to find Tokabi in subsequent encounters.
