Walkthrough
- 1From the highest pipe, move down to a large machine and crawl along another pipe. Jump to the highest pipe past it, then follow it to a platform with a vent grating. Bash the grating and crawl through the vent shaft to the second floor.
- 2Bash the grating and drop through. Turn right and bash crates for armor batteries. Observe the Bullsquid on the lower floor. After it finishes with the headcrabs, kill it with your pistol, strafing to avoid its spit. Shoot any remaining headcrabs.
- 3To cross to the Bullsquid's area: Use the broken metal walkway for a running jump (you will take damage). Alternatively, backtrack to find a door, a ladder down, and another door. You can push a wooden crate into the canal to jump across (be quick, it floats away), or swim to the other end, use a ladder to a small room with a first aid station, then proceed along a narrow ledge.
- 4Go through the door near the Bullsquid and down a corridor to section c1a1d.
- 5In section c1a1d, reach a large room with hanging crates and two ladders. After climbing the second ladder, jump onto the railing, then onto the nearest hanging crate. Move to the next crate directly ahead, then drop to the next crate without jumping. Turn right and drop to two more crates, then finally drop to the floor.
- 6Move down the corridor to a ladder in a red-lit room. Past it is a corridor leading back to section c1a1c.
- 7In section c1a1c, exit through a door, go right to find an elevator, and use its panel to ride to the "Office Complex" chapter.
- 8In section c1a2, leave the elevator, grab the health pack and armor battery. Turn left and observe the electrical hazard killing headcrabs.
- 9To bypass the electrical hazard: Find the vent grating near it, bash it with the crowbar, and enter the vent shaft. Turn left. At a barred window looking into a fan room, turn right and find another grating. Bash it and move in the shaft until headcrabs are killed by the fan.
- 10Do not enter the fan room yet. Return to the other end of the vent shaft, bash another grating, and drop down. Open the two nearby locked doors from the inside. Bash vending machines for bugs.
- 11Approach the scientist near the table lamp. He will agree to follow you. Maneuver him into being caught by a barnacle. You can then kill barnacles by letting them catch you and bashing them.
- 12Find the door with the "high voltage" sign. Go through it and use the lever on the panel to turn off power to the hallway hazard.
- 13Return to the vent opening in the hallway, reenter it, and go left to the fan room entrance. Drop into the fan room and check near the dead security guard for two bullet clips.
- 14Crouch-jump back into the shaft, return to the hallway, and go past the deactivated electrical hazard. Bash the glass out of the window past the unopenable door and crouch-jump through.
- 15Pass the D-AL 101 room. Move to the unopenable wooden door in the "STORAGE" area. Wait for a zombie to break through, then shoot it.
- 16In the dark storage room, crouch and move on the lowest wrecked shelves to pick up two bullet clips.
Tips
- When crossing the canal, crates will sink under your weight.
- The hanging crates will sway when you land on them, making jumps trickier.
- The electrical hazard in the hallway can be bypassed by running down the left side, but you will take significant damage.
