    From the HEV station in section c3a2b, grab the assault rifle and run to the opposite wall with a window. Crouch to avoid the first teleporting vort, then face the door. Shoot the second vort that appears near the door.

    Wait for the first vort to be killed by electrical discharges. Collect the gauss gun ammo and use the HEV station. Use the exit portal to return to the starting teleporter area.
