Walkthrough
- 1Go through the door past the grenades, climb down a yellow ladder, and pass through another door.
- 2Quicksave (save your game progress) immediately after the last door.
- 3Crouch-walk (move while staying low to the ground) forward from the door into a large room.
- 4Stop at a point with a small fence on the left and two large gray pillars on the right.
- 5Move forward until you are past the nearest pillar, then look between the pillars for a stack of two large red storage containers.
- 6Strafe left (move sideways) until you see an assassin's leg to the left of the containers.
- 7Shoot the leg with a dart from your crossbow for an instant kill.
- 8Switch to the hornet gun and crouch-walk past the fence towards explosive barrels visible between a red storage container and green crates.
- 9Use altfire hornets (secondary fire mode) to destroy the explosive barrels and the assassin near them.

- 20Or, crouch-walk up the right side of the first set of stairs with C4 satchels, toss one past the stairs, stand up, run backward, and detonate when the assassin appears.
- 21Go up the stairs and along the left walkway to reach the assassin you sniped from the storage container.
- 22Go down the stairs to the left to find first aid and HEV stations (health and armor recharge points). Recharge your health and armor.
- 23Go back up the stairs and straight forward to a dark hallway with a small lift.
- 24Use your flashlight to find and press the button on the wall to descend the lift. This starts section c3a2.
- 25Go down a short hallway to a large tunnel section with explosive barrels.
- 26As you approach the door past the barrels, it will open, revealing an alien grunt.
- 27Quicksave, then approach the door by moving slowly backward.
- 28As the door starts to open, run forward to the lift. Wait to see if a grunt follows, and hit it with an AR grenade followed by bullets to the face if it does.
- 29Go back to the short hallway and fire hornets over the explosive barrels near the grunt-opened door.
- 30If any grunts are near that door, the hornets should hit them.

- 43Go inside and pick up the gluon gun from next to the scientist.
- 44When the scientist says, "You don't look as if you have any trouble killing things," respond, "No, I don't!" and kill him with a quick gluon burst.
- 45Use the buttons on the two control panels to open nearby firing chamber doors.
- 46Destroy the headcrabs in the left chamber and the bullsquid in the right chamber.
- 47Restock on ammo from the nearby shelf.
- 48Leave the room and go down the corridor to find a button-operated lift to section c3a2a.
