    Past the crate, sneak-shoot or fight enemies in the hallway. Use the red wheel to activate steam vents.

Tips
  • If enemies see you in the first hallway, retreat to the fallen door in the elevator shaft and shoot from there.
  • The security guy can help if you struggle with the two grunts around the corner past the steam vents.
  • Use the flashlight to spot headcrabs in dark niches.
  • If headcrabs aren't falling, check the ceiling or look for any stuck near it.
  • When jumping to port ledges, try to time your jump when the rotating platform is just coming around to the port, not directly in front of it.
  • Crouch immediately after entering a port if the platform is about to move under a pipe.
  • Health pack and gauss gun ammo in the optional side area.
  • Supplies in secret rooms accessed via teleporter ports 3 and 5.
  • Three scientists in the room after port 5.
