    Launch the Dog (DB) between the tree, church wall, and fence.

    Switch to the Shotgun (SG) and sprint, dodge, and jump through speeders back to the fire escape.

Notes:

  • If you spend too much time shooting DB in HL2ud, Grigori may not acknowledge you.
  • A new, slightly faster method from the flat roof tram to the churchyard saves about 10 seconds.
  • It's not possible to proceed beyond the graveyard XP unless all Zombies, spiders, Antlions, and the 1 Soldier are eliminated.
  • Grigori shooting at DB in HL2ud confirms its presence in the churchyard. This is rarely heard in HL2.
  • DB may hit an invisible barrier before the XP gate area; the cause is unknown.
