    Make your way back to the Gold Saucer by heading to North Corel and taking the lift at the Ropeway Station. You may need to purchase another 3000 Gil ticket if you haven't bought the lifetime pass.

    Head upstairs in the Gold Saucer to the Battle Square registration area.

    Proceed upstairs to reach "Dio's Show Room".

    Investigate the Keystone display in the center of the room.

    Dio will appear and, after initially refusing, will consent to let you have the artifact if you entertain him by fighting in the Battle Arena.

    Participate in the Battle Arena. You will face eight progressively powerful enemies, with random detrimental handicaps applied after each fight. Recommended Materia includes Enemy Skill, HP Plus, Long Range, and Mystify + Added Effect (in armor). Use items like Right Arms or Dragon Scales for groups if you run out of MP. Use a Smoke Bomb to escape with your Battle Points (BP) if necessary.

    After winning the battles, Dio will give you the Keystone.

    Return to the Station and find that the lift is experiencing mechanical issues.

    Cait Sith will appear, suggest a course of action, and head off to resolve the lift issue. Follow him to the Ghost Square.

    Meet up with the group in the hotel and discuss recent events. You can choose to have Cloud tell them or decline; the outcome is the same, and everyone will retire for the night.

    Sail east to reach the Temple of the Ancients, located on a small island south of Junon and southwest of Fort Condor.
Tips
  • If you sold off a master-level All Materia, you should have enough Gil for a lifetime pass to the Gold Saucer. Otherwise, 3000 Gil is a reasonable amount to earn near Mideel.
  • The Battle Square offers excellent prizes, including powerful accessories, unique Materia, and Cloud's ultimate Limit Break, but it is much easier to win these later in the game with better gear and an efficient way to earn GP.
  • For the Battle Arena, consider equipping Enemy Skill, HP Plus, Long Range, and Mystify + Added Effect Materia.
  • If you need to escape the Battle Arena with your current BP, use a Smoke Bomb (stolen from Slaloms in Junon).
  • If you have a high disposition with Barret, you can opt for the "Best Bromance" date with him.
