Guide to Cosmo Canyon in final fantasy vii. Avoid buggy breakdown, find Turtle's Paradise posters, and buy HP Plus Materia for 8000 Gil.

To reach Cosmo Canyon, drive the buggy west, following a river until you can cross it. Continue north into rocky badlands known as the “Cosmo Area”. To avoid the buggy breaking down and missing a Fort Condor event, park the buggy before entering the badlands and walk the rest of the way to Cosmo Canyon.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Enter Cosmo Canyon and approach the guard at the gate. Red XIII will be recognized as Nanaki.
  2. 2
After passing the guard, turn north-east to find the “Cosmo Candle”.
  3. 3
North of the candle, ignore the western-most ladder. Instead, go through the nearby door to find a bar and the Shildra Inn.
  4. 4
In the inn, west of the counter, find the “Turtle’s Paradise No. 5” poster on the wall.
  5. 5
In the room just south of the inn's fridge, find a hidden Elixir.
  6. 6
Leave the inn and head east to the next ladder, which leads to an item shop.
  7. 7
Return to the entrance of Cosmo Canyon and ascend stairs. Talk to Red XIII.
  8. 8
Go up another flight of stairs and enter a building. On a beam between the stairs and the “Tigerlily Arms Shop”, find the “Turtle’s Paradise No. 4” poster.
  9. 9
Visit the weapon shop. Available weapons include the Butterfly Edge (2800 Gil), Tiger Fang (2500 Gil), Heavy Vulcan (2700 Gil), Prism Staff (2600 Gil), Silver Barrette (2500 Gil), Pinwheel (2600 Gil), Green M-Phone (2400 Gil), and Silver Armlet (1300 Gil).
  10. 10
Head upstairs from the weapon shop and enter the door on the upper level. If Barret is in your party, talk to him here to gain disposition points by choosing dialogue options like “Go on” and “And then?”.
  11. 11
Leave that room and turn left, then climb more stairs into a higher complex.
  12. 12
Through the first door to the east, you'll find a Materia shop. You can buy HP Plus Materia and MP Plus Materia for 8000 Gil each. Mystify Materia and Transform Materia are available for 6000 Gil each.
