After the party disembarks, they will banter and then split up. You can talk to sailors and beach bums before heading up stairs to the east. Cross a bridge to the east and enter the door at the other end to find a villa. The real-estate agent is present but sleeping; you can buy the villa for 300,000 Gil later. Downstairs, you can find a Power Source, a Motor Drive (a three-socket, Double AP Growth weapon for Tifa), and a Fire Ring which nullifies fire attacks.

Head south-east along the buildings until you find a bar. Inside, you can find Mukki and his associates. A shady guy in the corner sells Carbon Bangles for 800 Gil and Platinum Bangles for 1800 Gil. The Platinum Bangles have two Materia slots and Double AP Growth.

Continue north-east along the buildings to find children playing soccer with Red XIII’s tail. Nearby, Johnny is found in a house. Butch’s shop, operated by Yuffie, sells Materia.

Head down stairs to the beach to find Hojo. Talk to the girl at his feet to draw his attention. After he questions you about Sephiroth and what is calling you, he will tell Aeris to head west. Exit Costa del Sol by heading under the same bridge you crossed from the port earlier.
