Cave to the Sealed Gate

Enter the cave and head south. Investigate the chest on the eastern side-path for an Assassin’s Dagger. Exit via the southern door.

On B1F, go south and along the western side-path to find a Kazekiri in a chest. Take the eastern path southward.

On B2F, navigate the moving bridges by noting the tiles that remain stable. From the left path, go east onto the southern bridge. After the change, go south and east onto the rock. Wait for the change, then go south and along the first westbound path to find a chest containing the Heiji’s Jitte Relic.

Backtrack onto the solid rock. Use the northern path eastward to find a chest with an X-Potion. Go south onto the bridge and to the bottom section. After the change, go south and west.

After the next bridge change, go to the east side and onto the south part. Wait for another change to go through the southeastern door.

On B3F, go east at the fork to find a chest with a Hi-Ether. Return to the fork and continue along the other path. Head north and east a bit to a cave. Go south, upstairs, and cross the bridge. Fiddle with the switch on the way to fall down. Go back west and north to find the bridge to a chest completed. Open it for a Genji Glove.

Backtrack to the switch bridge, then go east and upstairs along the main path to a platform with two switches. Trigger both to open a new room and fight a Ninja. Head into the newly-opened room to find a Save Point and a chest with a Tent. Save your game.

Go east across the bridge. Trigger the switch on the bridge to open a large stairway. Follow it to the bottom. Get on the tile south of the stairs (the first tile no longer on stairs).

Go west one step and examine that tile for an Invisibility Scroll. Go four steps east and two south; examine the tile for a Water Scroll. Go four steps west and four south; examine the tile for a Gold Needle. Go south and around to a chest for a Hi-Ether. Stand on the tile north of this chest and go three steps north to find 293 Gil.

Enter the cave to the east. Go as far as you can north, then east, then north, then west, then north, then east, then north, and east to exit. Go south to find an Elixir in a chest.

Head southwest to a switch. Step on it to open a room. Enter to find four chests containing two Magicite Shards, a Hi-Ether, and the Ultima Weapon.

Exit and go to the far east, then north across two bridges. Hit the switch, then go east and north. Ignore the next switch and go north to find a chest with a third Magicite Shard. Go southeast and through the door.

Circle around and exit to the northeast to find the Sealed Gate. Terra proceeds towards the Gate, and Kefka engages your other three characters in battle. Defeat Kefka in one hit.

After the battle, Terra contacts the Espers. Follow the new exit for a shortcut back to the Imperial outpost.
