    • Terra: Focus on either healing with Cure or dealing damage with Fire.

    Cyan: Use his Bushido techniques, specifically #1 or #4.

    Alternate Strategy (Celes & Edgar): If you went with a different team, like Celes and Edgar, you can use a really powerful tactic. Have Celes use Runic. This ability completely negates Kefka's magic attacks, essentially neutralizing him. While Celes is busy with Runic, have Edgar use his attacks (like his gun) and your other party member go all out with their strongest abilities. This will bring Kefka down super fast.

    After the Battle: Once Kefka is dealt with, you'll head north to meet up with the Esper. After that scene plays out, your next objective will be to find Terra.
Tips
  • Don't underestimate the enemy right before Kefka; they're much tougher than Kefka himself.
  • If you're struggling, Celes's Runic ability is your best friend against Kefka's magic.
  • Keep an eye on your party's HP, especially during the fight with the stronger enemy preceding Kefka.
