    From the world map, head east, north, then east to enter the Mine of Cathuriges.

Boss: Orc King

The Orc King is a straightforward boss, especially with the Warrior's Weapon and Iron Shield (ideally obtained at Marr's Pass). Physical attacks are recommended. The Orc King has moderate damage attacks, with the most damage being about half a heart at a time. His most frequent attack is a charge using Fiara; use this opportunity to attack. If you stay too close, he will perform a powerful spin attack with his hammer, which causes damage and knocks you back, but also makes him dizzy. When dizzy, attack quickly or use magic, then retreat. He can also smash his hammer on the ground, causing reasonable damage. Orcs may occasionally appear; defeat them quickly to avoid distraction. If you have a level two spell, it is recommended. Otherwise, use physical attacks and Focus Attacks when the Orc King is dizzy. When the Orc King reaches 25% HP, he will glow yellow. Immediately rush in and attack with slashes and combos, avoiding Focus Attacks due to their charge time.

  • Be aware of the Bomb's explosion radius and maintain distance.
  • The Moogle's Nest is found by examining a dead end in the mine track.
