Walkthrough

Enter the underground area of the Ghost Farm through the trapdoor in the main farm structure.

Talk to Vegeir and inform him that the trade message was received well.

Receive an Assault Rifle and ammunition from Vegeir. This rifle can be upgraded with an extended clip to hold 100 bullets instead of 24.

Head north within the underground area, towards the zone adjacent to the underground lake.

Speak with Jonny, confirming his name and explaining that his parents sent you.

When Jonny asks for his dad's name, answer "Balthas".

Return to Vegeir and ask for permission for Jonny to go home.

Vegeir will agree and arrange an escort to take you, Jonny, and Laddie to Modoc.

Upon arriving in Modoc, speak with Balthas to receive new armor.

You will also gain a significant amount of experience points.

Afterward, proceed towards Vault City.

Tips

The Assault Rifle, while not extremely powerful, has a high ammo capacity and good range, especially when upgraded with an extended clip.
Ensure you answer "Balthas" when Jonny asks for his dad's name to progress the quest.
