The Clifftop Path

Alright, so you've found the cave on the west beach in the south of Oakvale. That's your ticket to the Clifftop Path! This is where you'll tackle a mandatory quest, so let's get you through it.

Quest: Find The Bandit Seeress
Location: Clifftop Path
Reward: 4500 Gold, 1000 Renown, Bandit Seal Trophy

Before you dive in, check out these boasts you can accept. They're like optional challenges with extra rewards:

• Without A Scratch: Take no damage. Wager 500 Gold, get 3000 Gold if you succeed.
• Spare Bandits: Don't kill any bandits. Wager 400 Gold, get 1200 Gold if you succeed.
• Bandit Blood: Kill at least 24 bandits. Wager 200 Gold, get 400 Gold if you succeed.

Once you've accepted your quest and any boasts, head back to Oakvale and make your way through that cave on the west beach. You'll emerge onto the Clifftop Path itself.

As soon as you arrive, you'll see three bandits. Your main goal here is to reach the gate at the end of the path without being spotted. If you've got a hero who's good with a bow or spells, you can try taking them out from a distance. Just be careful – if you go for melee combat and they spot you, they'll alert the others, making things much harder.

If stealth is more your style, or if you just can't get a clean shot, don't worry. There are plenty of boulders and trees you can use for cover. Crouch down (hold the left analog stick) and creep past them. Along the way, keep an eye out for some barrels. Smash them open – you might find a Harion Shoulder Tattoo (which looks pretty sweet!) and a Health Potion inside. Grab those and keep moving towards the gate.
