Abandoned Road

Find all the bandit gear you need to sneak into Twinblade's Camp. Learn about the Demon Door and its unique requirements on Abandoned Road in Fable.

Alright, so you've made it to the Abandoned Road. This is where things get a little more direct – no more sneaking around. Your main goal here is to grab a full set of bandit gear. You'll find these clothes stashed away in chests scattered along the road. Keep your eyes peeled for them!

The road is crawling with bandits, so be ready for a fight. They tend to swarm you in melee, so try to manage them one or two at a time if you can. Don't let them surround you!

You'll need to open the first five chests you find; they contain the bandit outfit pieces you're looking for. The sixth chest is a bit of a bonus – it holds a Resurrection Phial, which is always handy to have. Also, keep an eye out for barrels! They can contain some useful potions like Ages of the Will, Ages of the Skill, and a basic Will Potion, plus a Health Potion. Oh, and don't forget to grab the 250 Gold you'll find!

Demon Door #7:

As you explore the Abandoned Road, you'll stumble upon Demon Door #7. This particular door is a bit of a fashion critic. It wants to see you model three distinct outfits: the bandit gear you just collected, the Will User's Dark Robes (which you'll get from a Demon Door in Darkwood Marshes), and a full set of Bright Plate Armor. You won't have the Bright Plate Armor at this point in the game, so you'll need to come back later. You can find it from traders in the Arena, Knothole Glade, or wandering the Greatwood Area. Once you've got all three outfits, just approach the door and model each one. Doing so will grant you access to the Bitter Shrine, where you can snag the Dollmaster's Mace.
