Orchard Farm

Your comprehensive guide to Orchard Farm in Fable: The Lost Chapters. Learn how to complete the Protect/Attack Orchard Farm quest, find hidden items, and succeed in side quests.

Orchard Farm is located to the south of Greatwood Entrance. This area is central to several quests and contains various items to discover.

Mandatory Quest 6: Protect/Attack Orchard Farm

This quest has two paths: protecting the farm or attacking it. Both choices will affect your alignment. The base reward for completing the quest is 900 Gold and 400 Renown. Additionally, you will receive Whisper's Brooch upon defeating Whisper in a duel, regardless of the chosen path.

Protect Orchard Farm

To protect the farm, head west from Greatwood Entrance to Greatwood Lake, then take the east entrance to Orchard Farm. Your objective is to hunt down all bandits and ensure no guards are killed, especially if you accepted the 'Protect Guards' boast. If a bandit picks up a crate, eliminate him. After defeating all bandits, you will duel Whisper.

Attack Orchard Farm

To attack the farm, head directly to it from Greatwood Entrance. Lead the bandits towards the barn, eliminating any guards. You can also choose to protect the bandits if you accepted the 'Protect Bandits' boast. Once the bandits start collecting crates, provide cover against returning waves of guards. After all crates are stolen, you will duel Whisper.

Available Boasts for Protect/Attack Orchard Farm:

• No Protection: Wager 80 Gold, Reward 160 Gold (Quest naked).
• Without a Scratch: Wager 100 Gold, Reward 400 Gold (Take no damage).
• Fist Fighter: Wager 100 Gold, Reward 300 Gold (Use no weapons or offensive magic).
• Protect Guards (Protect only): Wager 100 Gold, Reward 250 Gold (Ensure no guards are killed).
• Protect Bandits (Attack only): Wager 100 Gold, Reward 275 Gold (Ensure no bandits are killed).
• No Healing (Attack only): Wager 80 Gold, Reward 160 Gold (Use nothing to restore health).

Items and Collectibles in Orchard Farm:

• Jet: Found in a chest behind the barn.
• Treasure Clue #5: Found in a chest among the trees. This is needed for the Hidden Booty Hunt Quest.
• Elixir of Life: Can be fished from a small pond in front of the farmhouse.
• Coron Visor Tattoo Card: Can be fished from ripples in the water to the east of the farm.
• Silver Key #6: Can be fished from the same ripples as the Coron Visor Tattoo Card.

Orchard Farm Escort Side Quest

After completing the main Orchard Farm quest, go to Lookout Point to find a wandering trader. He will offer to pay you 125 Gold upfront and 375 Gold upon arrival to escort him to Orchard Farm. If he arrives without taking damage, he may offer an additional reward. You can enter the farmhouse with him, which is your only opportunity to access it. This quest can be repeated.

Hobbe Killing Contest Side Quest

This optional quest becomes available at the Heroes' Guild after completing the Protect/Attack Orchard Farm Quest. You compete against Whisper to defeat Hobbes attacking the farm. To win, you must defeat more Hobbes than Whisper. If you both destroy all Hobbes, you receive the Hobbe's Tooth Trophy. If Whisper defeats more, you fail and must retry. Staying near Whisper allows you to steal kills if she is about to finish off a Hobbe.

Available Boasts for Hobbe Killing Contest:

• No Protection: Wager 200 Gold, Reward 400 Gold (Quest naked).
• Without a Scratch: Wager 100 Gold, Reward 600 Gold (Take no damage).
• Fist Fighter: Wager 100 Gold, Reward 800 Gold (Use no weapons or offensive magic).
• Humble Whisper: Wager 150 Gold, Reward 500 Gold (Kill 10 or more Hobbes than Whisper).
