How to Get Torn Cloth

Killing Scavenger enemies is a consistent method for farming Torn Cloth. You can find them in most neutral POIs like old mine shafts, camps, and ruined settlements. Early game locations include the Scavenger Camp with a mineshaft (west of the starting base quest location) and Rookmore (north of the base building quest, west of Braelyn Bridge). These Scavengers are typically level 3 and weak to Frost damage. Later in the game, you can find more Scavengers in abandoned towns in the Lowlands and Revelwoods biomes. Specific locations with higher yields at higher levels include Wither Camp (Northwest Springlands), Mark of Sameth (Middle left of Revelwood), Glenwood’s End (Northwest Revelwood), and Hill of Scavengers (North Central Springlands). Killing a Scavenger almost always guarantees at least one Torn Cloth.

Destroying props within buildings can yield Torn Cloth. Look for smashable items like tents, boxes, and vases. Vases in Abandoned Towers and Vaults are particularly good sources. Breaking these props can also drop Metal Scraps, Bandages, String, Copper bars, Beeswax, and potions, depending on the location's tier. Items on bookshelves, tables, and other furniture can also be looted for Torn Cloth, Plant Fibers, and Metal Scraps. In the early game, Longkeep is a good location with barrels and baskets to smash for Torn Cloth, water, metals, logs, string, and plant fiber. You can also find items on the back of wagons and other prompts in smaller POIs.

Looting Chests found in abandoned buildings, Towers, and Vaults can sometimes yield Torn Cloth. Standard wooden chests often contain consumables like Bandages and explosives, but occasionally offer basic materials.

Killing Fell shroud enemies is another reliable method. These enemies can drop Torn Cloth frequently. You can find them in Shrouded areas or patrolling at night. Elixir Wells tend to have a high concentration of Fell enemies.
