Alright, let's talk about getting your hands on Metal Scraps in Enshrouded. This is one of those core crafting materials you'll be needing a ton of, especially early on for things like Nails and Lockpicks. The absolute best way to get them is by taking down those nasty Scavenger enemies. You know the ones – raggedy clothes, fur patches, usually wielding crossbows or chucking bombs, and sometimes they've got wolves with them. They're a reliable source for Metal Scraps, along with other useful bits like meals, Fur Patches, and Torn Cloth.

Your main goal here is to find those abandoned camps and towns that are crawling with Scavengers. That's where the real farming happens.

Scavenger Camp with Mineshaft Farm

When you're just starting out and really need this stuff, there are some decent spots not too far from Longkeep. Here's how to find a good early-game farm:

1. Head a bit north of Longkeep. You'll see some scaffolding; you can either use your parkour skills or your Grappling Hook to get up there.
2. Once you're up, look for buildings that have explosives around them. Destroying these can sometimes yield Metal Scraps.
3. Keep following the road, but then hang a left and go up the mountain path.
4. You'll stumble upon a small Scavenger Camp that has an Abandoned Mineshaft. You'll find two level 3 Scavengers and a guard dog here. There are also more explosives you can grab to loot the Mineshaft, and you can blow up some tents for cloth, Metal Scraps, and other early-game goodies.
5. From there, head straight north. You'll find a cliff edge that looks out over a town called Rookmore. Use your Glider to descend into the town. This place is packed with level 3 Scavengers, and you can smash up props that have Metal Scraps on them for extra loot. Keep an eye out around the tables and tents in the main camp – you'll find a few scraps there.

Beyond just killing Scavengers, don't forget to smash any metallic props you see and break open vases. As you explore places like Fire Shrines, Ancient Towers, and Ancient Vaults, you'll often find loot that matches the biome's tier. This means Metal Scraps can pop up in these locations, as well as abandoned inns along forest roads. As you level up, you'll find bigger abandoned towns and camps with higher-level Scavengers, and they'll drop even more loot. You'll be swimming in Metal Scraps before you know it, perfect for crafting Nails and Lockpicks.

Higher-Level Farming Spots

Once you're ready to craft Metal Sheets for the Blacksmith, you'll be converting a lot of your Metal Scrap. For this, you'll want to hit up the Scavenger main camp, which is a level 9 area. Alternatively, you can head into the Revelwood and find abandoned towns taken over by Scavengers, who are typically level 11-15. Here are some recommended spots:

• Wither Camp (Northwest Springlands)
• Mark of Sameth (Middle left of Revelwood)
• Glenwood’s End (Northwest Revelwood)
• Hill of Scavengers (North Central Springlands)

Heads up: You'll need Flame level 3 to reach Glenwood’s End and Mark of Sameth. The other spots can be reached with just Flame level 1.
