Find Iron Ore in enshrouded at Ridgeback Mine and Cave Passage. Learn about Sicklescythe boss and Shroud Time reduction.
Walkthrough
- 1Fly to the Ridgeback Mine (southwest from Kindlewastes Tower, inside the shroud) or the Cave Passage (southeast from Kindlewastes Tower, south of the Oasis).
- 2The Cave Passage is a small cave against a rock, just above Shroud Level 6 fog. Mine the small strip of Iron Ore inside; a full mine yields around 35 Iron Ore. At Flame Level 6, more deposits are available further down, guarded by Shroud Critters.
- 3The Ridgeback Mine is a mining POI within the shroud. You can find more Iron Ore here than in the Cave Passage. Wear gear that shortens your Shroud Time and use shroud potions to extend your time inside to mine various pockets of Iron Ore.
- 4Warning: The Ridgeback Mine is guarded by a Sicklescythe, a final boss enemy. Its scythe throw can be blocked with a high-level shield. Its explosive skull attack follows you and deals around 300 damage per explosion; keep your distance to outrun it.
- 5Once your Flame Level upgrades, you can access more Shroud Level 6 Iron Ore farms. In the south, near lava and a small fishing dock, you'll find Iron Ore on the floor and inside a hill. A climbing platform to the east allows you to reset your Shroud timer and loot a golden chest.
- 6Another location is the northern cave passage, on the way to the bluff plateau where East Lapis is. Inside, you'll find more critters and clumps of Iron in the wall.
Tips
- Gear that shortens Shroud Time and shroud potions are highly recommended for mining in the Ridgeback Mine.
- The Sicklescythe's explosive skull attack requires you to run away from it.
- A climbing platform east of the southern fishing dock can be used to reset your Shroud timer and loot a golden chest.
- The northern cave passage offers Iron Ore similar to the Cave Passage near the Oasis but without any hidden spots.
