Alright, so you've found the Cave of Confusion, a special bonus dungeon that's only in the HD-2D Remake of Dragon Quest II. This is where the previous Hero, Erdrick, hid the Sphere of Light. Your mission, given by the Dragonlord's grandson, is to retrieve it so he can achieve his true form. Pretty important stuff!
Now, heads up: this place is a bit of a maze. Both Zoom and Evac spells won't work here, and there's no turning back unless you find one of the Teleportals on floors six, thirteen, or twenty. You'll get a warning before you enter, so make sure you're ready for a potentially long haul. The cave itself is a tricky labyrinth, using layouts from previous dungeons in the Erdrick Trilogy. You'll need to find the correct path on each floor, or you'll be sent right back to the entrance of that floor.
