This section presents a series of scenarios designed to test your reactions and empathy, often presented as questions from an interrogator (M) to the player character (R).

Scenario A: You witness a chef drop a live lobster into boiling water. R finds it insane, M notes it was common practice and questions the value of lobsters.

Scenario B: You are in a rented mountain cabin with maps and prints on the wall, and a mounted deer head. R asks what to say, M explains the Voigt-Kampff test measures reactions.

Scenario C: You open a book titled "Big-Game Hunting in Zaire" and see a picture of a man with a dead Cape buffalo. R calls the test writer a psychopath. M notes fascination with gruesome animal pictures, R questions the point.

Scenario D: You have been kidnapped and told to think about what you did to deserve it. R denies doing anything wrong.

Scenario E: You are asked what it's like to be a Replicant. R claims ignorance, M asks how it feels to be hunted, R dismisses them as machines, M probes for sympathy, R concedes it might be bad.

Scenario F: You are told you are going to die soon and are scared. R calls the speaker pathetic.

Scenario G: You see a tortoise on its back in the desert and flip it over. R states they wouldn't injure an animal. M describes the tortoise's struggle, R calls M disgusting. R expresses love for animals, M explains the test's purpose. R asks about losing everything, M responds dryly, R tells M to leave.

Scenario H: You are watching a movie with raw oysters and boiled dog as the entrée. R would turn it off.

Scenario I: You are feeding pigs on a farm, get knocked down, and slit a sow's throat with a butcher knife. R questions who could do such a thing.

Scenario J: M shows off a briefcase made of "100% genuine human baby hide." R calls M sick. M confirms they are sick but stays that way, and asks if R is ready for the next test. R wants to get it over with.
