Learn how to complete the 'To Catch an Urchin' side-mission in Assassin's Creed Syndicate. This guide covers stealthy entry, enemy takedowns, and freeing children.
Alright, so this is the first of eleven Child Liberation side-activities in Assassin's Creed Syndicate. Your main goal here is to sneak into a factory-like building, take out the foreman, and free all the kids you find inside. The big catch? You've gotta do it all without setting off any alarms if you want to snag that optional objective.
- 1Entry: The easiest way in is to climb onto the roof. There's a platform on the southern side of the restricted area with an open doorway. Head inside from there.
- 2First Floor: As soon as you enter, take out the guy right by the door. Then, head down the first set of stairs. You'll see the foreman to your left and another Thug patrolling ahead. Your best bet is to use throwing knives or your stealth skills to get them both. After that, free the first group of children who are right by where the foreman was.
- 3Second Floor: Go down the next set of stairs. The second group of children is behind the stairs you just came down, guarded by a Thug. There's another Thug patrolling the opposite walkway. Deal with both of them and free the kids.
- 4Final Floor & Alarm: Now, look down to the floor below. There's a guy standing right by the alarm bell. Air assassinate him, and then quickly free the third group of children nearby. This will wrap up the memory.
- Starting from the roof lets you tag most of the enemies before you even go inside, which is super helpful for planning your approach.
- Work your way from the top of the building down. It makes managing the enemies and freeing the children a lot smoother.
- Remember, no alarms! Keep an eye on that alarm bell and make sure you take out the guard near it before he can raise the alarm.
