Spy Hunt

Follow our guide to successfully complete the Spy Hunt mission in Assassin's Creed Syndicate, including how to get the bonus reward.

Alright, so you've met up with your WWI pal and it's time to tackle this 'Spy Hunt' mission. You'll find the action kicking off in the Tower of London, specifically on the north side of Tower Bridge, just a bit to the west. Be warned, this area is crawling with neutral Soldiers who won't take kindly to you snooping around their restricted zone.

Your main goal is to track down and eliminate a single target. To get a lay of the land, approach from the south. Take a peek at your map; it'll point you towards a standalone building east of the main citadel. Your best bet is to scale one of the nearby towers, activate your Eagle Vision, and mark as many Soldiers as you can. This'll help you plot your path without getting spotted.

The game will initially place an objective marker on the second floor of that building, inside a bedroom. Since there are quite a few guards patrolling inside, it's way easier to approach from the roof. From there, drop onto the balcony that runs along the eastern side of the building and slip into the target room through the open window.

Once you're in, you'll need to examine the body on the floor. This will update your objective marker, revealing the target's actual location. He's now making a run for it in the courtyard just south of the main structure in the center of the compound.

Now, exit the building the way you came in (through the window) and get back up to the roof. Use your Rope Launcher to quietly reach the top of the central structure. From there, you can drop down to one of the ledges, poles, or ropes on the southern side of the building. Keep an eye out – you should be able to spot your target darting around like a maniac, with the local Soldiers completely oblivious to his antics.

Here's the crucial part for completing the memory and snagging that bonus reward: you need to have the guards take him out. Wait until you're within range of the target – he'll be running around the area, so be patient. Once you've got a clear shot, hit him in the head with a hallucinogenic dart. He'll then go berserk and attack a nearby guard, leading to his demise. Easy peasy!

With the target dealt with, your next move is to get out of the restricted area and blend back into the crowd to become anonymous. That's it, mission accomplished!
