Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

The Blademaster build in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers focuses on enhancing regular attacks with the Blademaster Discipline Skill, unlocked in the Impetus Repository under the Dual Blades tree. This skill increases attack speed and restores health on a successful Clash, but requires a Skyborn Might to activate. It's best used with specific Temperings and skills like Leech Tempering, Leaf Slasher, Mighty Combination, and Deadly Shadow to maximize its effectiveness.

When paired with these elements, the latter half of your light attack combo and dash attack gain the Clash effect. The final hit of your combo grants a Skyborn Might, enabling continuous use of the Blademaster buff. This build excels against weapon-wielding bosses due to the health leech from successful Clashes, offering significant damage output and near-invincibility. However, it is less effective against martial attacks like punches and kicks, as Clash mechanics do not apply to them.

The core of this build is the Blademaster skill itself. Key Impetus Repository skills include Feather Chaser, Unmatched, Swift Warrior, Blademaster, Blademaster Variant 1, Blademaster Variant 2, Leaf Slasher, Wave Breaker, Mighty Combination, and Deadly Shadow from the Dual Blades tree. From the Illusive tree, Bone Needle - Leech, Temper 1, Temper 2, Alteration 1, Alteration 2, and Alteration 3 are crucial. Additionally, prioritize Manna Capacity and Manna Potency nodes from the Illusive tree, all Swift Blade Mastery nodes from the Dual Blades tree, and invest attribute points in Vitality, Endurance, and either Agility or Strength.

Within the Dual Blades tree, Blademaster and its variants are central. Blademaster, when activated with one Skyborn Might, grants the Bladeborn buff, increasing attack speed and restoring health on Clash. Blademaster Variant 1 extends this buff's duration to one minute, requiring reapplication but allowing for sustained use. The faster attacks enabled by Blademaster allow quicker access to the 4th, 5th, and 6th combo attacks, which are key for triggering Clashes, especially when combined with Leaf Slasher. Mighty Combination ensures the 6th attack restores a Skyborn Might. Blademaster Variant 2 further enhances health restoration when Madness is at 90% or higher.

Other important Dual Blades skills include Wavebreaker, which allows heavy and charged heavy attacks to Clash and reward a Skyborn Might upon success. Unmatched provides the option to expend a Skyborn Might for a quick heavy charged attack. Swift Warrior grants a Skyborn Might on the fourth light attack. Deadly Shadow adds the Clash effect to dash attacks, granting another Skyborn Might on successful Clashes. Prioritizing Swift Blade skills is essential as they increase the level of all Dual Blades, making them more potent.
