How to Enter the Shaft Locked Door
Go Down to the Tunnel with the Falling Boulders in the First Area
To get inside the locked room in the Bride's Boudoir, you must travel to the Shaft Entrance Shrine, go past the bridge with the Pendulum Hammer, and then turn left. Go straight until you reach the tunnel with two falling boulders. You can safely drop down to the hidden room at the end of the tunnel.

1. Go Down the Shaft
| 1.1 | 
After defeating the Mistress of the Night - Huang Yan, proceed through the newly unlocked area. Circle around the top floor before proceeding down the shaft to get the Bloodied Paper. Once you've obtained the item, use the elevator going down to unlock the Shaft Shrine.

Beside the Shaft Shrine is Fang Yao; talk to her and agree to help her save her sister. She will become an important NPC moving forward. If you do not agree to help her, you will find her dead body in one of the jail cells in the area.

After speaking with Fang Yao, your next goal is to unlock the nearby door to access rare materials and open a shortcut back to the shrine for easier navigation. The simplest route is to go through the bridge with the Pendulum Hammer, then jump to the ledge on your right to reach a hidden area.

| 1.4 | 
Fight your way through the enemies until you reach a room containing the Bamboo Shoot and the Used Mortar, which you’ll later give to Wu Gang. After collecting them, exit the room while avoiding the endlessly respawning exploding enemies. Be sure to grab the Brilliant Red Feather on your way out. This path will lead you back to the locked door from earlier, and reveal a ladder that grants access to the lower section of the Shaft.

After unlocking the sealed room, return to the bridge with the Pendulum Hammer. Defeat the Snowfall guard stationed there, then proceed through the tunnel where boulders fall from above. Wait for two boulders to drop before continuing down the path.
Advance Tip: Jumping down the end of the tunnel would lead you to a locked room where you can obtain a Lost Remains. This would also allow you to skip through most of the areas in the Shaft and unlock the Bride Boudoir's Shrine immediately. This is a fast way to reach Fang Ling, but we still recommend going through the areas you skipped for some valuable loot. If you decided to unlock the shrine first, jump to this section.

Beside the tunnel, you will find a broken wall that will lead you to a room with a fireplace. Smash the vases near the fireplace to reveal the hiding Mimic Vase and get another Brilliant Red Feather.

Progress through the area, past the Spike Traps, to reach the walkway that will take you to the next area, which is the mad doctor's lair. Before proceeding to the next section, make sure to open the small chest on your right to get the Wei - Poise Force Benediction.

2. Traverse Through the Mad Doctors' Lair

As you enter the mad doctor's lair, your first priority is to eliminate the mad doctors waiting to engage you. Watch out for their heavy slam attacks and the Poisonous Jar they’ll break during the fight. Once they’re defeated, activate the lever at the end of the hallway to unlock a path that will take you around the area.
