Walkthrough for Warcraft III: Reforged's Chapter Four, 'The Druids Arise.' Includes objectives, hero tips for Furion and Tyrande, and strategies for defeating trolls, furbolgs, and orcs.
Walkthrough
- 1Start with your heroes (Furion and Tyrande) and three archers. Move north to the first gold mine (2000 gold).
- 2Establish your base, entangle the gold mine, and harvest lumber. Once entangled, harvest gold for 3 minutes 20 seconds.
- 3Train equal numbers of Dryads and Huntresses. Avoid training too many archers as they are weak early on. Build another moonwell near your starting location.
- 4Head north and slightly east to encounter trolls. Kill smaller groups normally, and use Furion's entangling roots on the stronger troll in the upper left.
- 5After defeating the trolls, train one more Huntress and one more Dryad. Collect the Ring of Protection +2 and note the Fountain of Health. Destroy crates above the high-level troll to find a Tome of Strength.
- 6Keep your base repaired and protectors active. Head south, follow the tree line on the right, and go southeast to find the next gold mine.
- 7Prepare for a fight with furbolgs. Use Furion's entangling roots on the high-level furbolg.
- 8Move your base to the new location and entangle the gold mine. Build another moonwell if your food cap reaches 50. Use the nearby Fountain of Health for healing.
- 9Train more Huntresses and Dryads, plus two Ballistas. Balance your army composition. Harvest the entire gold mine before entering low upkeep.
- 10While waiting for the mine, send units southwest to defeat trolls and collect an Ironwood Branch +1 and a Potion of Healing. Furion and Tyrande should be nearing level up; consider their passive abilities.
- 11Your base will face heavier attacks. Use Furion's treants to defend against siege units.
- 12Head northeast from your base towards the defiled fountain, then east to pick up more Huntresses. Build another moonwell if needed.
- 13Go straight north. Summon treants along the right forest and use entangling roots on the level 7 furbolg. Focus him down, then defeat the lesser furbolgs and those on the left side.
- 14Finish unit production.
Tips
- Tyrande is your main hero; give her better items. Her attack speed and agility items are beneficial, especially with flaming arrows. Her ultimate at level 6 is very powerful.
- Furion is less offensive but has useful abilities. Give him mana or intelligence items.
- Dryads are effective against air units like gargoyles.
- Repair your protectors regularly.
- Furion's passive ability (returning melee damage) is very useful against other races.
- Awaken Druids (Main Quest Completion)
- Crazed Furbolgs (Optional Quest Completion)
- Cursed Glade (Optional Quest Completion)
