Master Warcraft III: Reforged's Chapter Two: Blackrock and Roll (ROCWH2) with this comprehensive walkthrough. Learn to establish your base, defeat the Blademaster, and complete optional quests like slaying Searinox.
Walkthrough
- 1Assign peasants to the gold mine and train 5 additional peasants. Rally new peasants to the gold mine, then switch the rally point to lumber after two are trained.
- 2Upgrade your two scout towers at each base entrance to watch towers. Use Arthas to assist Uther with any attacks.
- 3Train a couple more peons, keep them rallied at lumber, and pull one off lumber to build an additional scout tower near each watch tower. Upgrade these to watch towers.
- 4Hotkey groups separately if desired for focus firing enemy attackers. Prioritize attacking raiders, then headhunters, then grunts.
- 5Once defense is sufficient, pull a peasant off lumber to repair towers as needed. Build a barracks and then 2 farms.
- 6Once the barracks is complete, start training footmen and rally them near the town hall.
- 7Once you have 6 footmen, take them with Arthas out the right entrance and head right. Meet riflemen and a mortar team, add them to your group, and head up the dirt path to the right for the optional quest.
- 8Start training riflemen from your barracks. Once you have 6 total riflemen (including those you are attacking with), alternate between training footmen and riflemen to maintain equal numbers.
- 9Head into the optional quest area. Use Holy Light to heal units low on health. Follow the path right, then down, killing lesser dragons. At the bottom, head left to the end and kill Searinox. Heal your riflemen, and it shouldn't be a problem.
- 10After defeating Searinox, return to Feranor to receive an Orb of Fire, which adds 5 bonus damage and allows Arthas to do splash damage.
- 11Balance your main attack group with footmen and riflemen (e.g., 6 footmen, 5 riflemen, and Arthas) and head out the left exit of your base.
- 12Continue up until you reach water with some murlocs. Kill all murlocs to the left in the water to receive Claws of Attack +3. Kill gnolls outside the base to the left for a Potion of Mana.
- 13Once you have two full groups of units (mix isn't crucial) of riflemen and footmen, ensure Arthas is hotkeyed to each group. Attack the north center of the map.
- 14Cycle both attack groups and heal as needed. Heal footmen as low as possible, as Holy Light heals for 400. Avoid over-healing to conserve mana.
- 15Wipe out the orc base in the north center of the map. This is optional but good practice.
- 16Head back out and send your groups near the upper right. Attack the Blademaster.
- 17To fight the Blademaster: send one or two footmen in to bait Bladestorm. When he uses it, run everyone out. If he doesn't use it, mass attack. If he uses Mirror Image, focus on the unit taking damage and identify which unit the Blademaster is attacking. Focus all units on that target. Repeat this process until the Blademaster is defeated.
