All 4 infantry leaders have a 30% (percent) Dodge rate, making surprise attacks ideal. Raz and Kai are encountered first. Raz may enter via the main path or a side hill; the main path is easier for distraction. Raz is easily distracted, and Kai can be defeated with Grenadier fire.

Capture the camp near the bridge (second camp) to draw Minerva, Riley, and a Mortar Lancer across. Defeating Minerva with interception fire requires significant firepower, and Riley or the Mortar Lancer may target your units. The best position to defeat Minerva without taking damage is behind the truck and around the corner leading to the first camp. With careful positioning and the right equipment, Minerva can almost always be defeated. Riley and the Mortar Lancers will not be able to spot your units to fire after Minerva is gone. Rita's rifle has a defense down debuff, Zaiga and Azusa have tier 3 ace weapons for heavy interception damage, and Connor can take shots. Simon can be moved South to assist for a guaranteed kill.

If Minerva does not cross the bridge, you must advance to her. Riley will be positioned at the third camp, making surprise attacks difficult in the open.

Claude will use rapid deployment when all 4 infantry leaders are defeated. To avoid this, leave one leader alive and advance to the main enemy camp. This is simpler than having all leaders redeploy there. Riley is the easiest to leave alive for this maneuver.

This strategy allows for completing the mission with no damage taken. However, since it is a 4-turn clear either way, rapid deployment can be allowed to defeat the squad a second time.

When taking the main enemy camp, soften it with grenadier fire before advancing. Connor can disrupt Riley, the enemy grenadier on the cliff, and defeat Minerva. Connor can then attack from the west of the camp, causing Raz to face west. This allows units to enter the main enemy camp from the ladder entrance without interception fire, where remaining units and Claude can be defeated to capture the camp.

Retreat and redeploy Simon because his 200 range machine gun can hit Kai on the cliff at her second deployment spot. Zaiga's machine gun with 120 range cannot reach her. Defeating Kai a second time is optional, done only to ensure all enemy leaders are defeated.

Turn 1-2 (Beach 1 - Raiding the Base): This mission is accessible earliest after clearing chapter 9 but before chapter 10. No ace or royal weapons are used. The mission can be cleared in one turn with no orders, all 4 aces killed, and 0 damage taken. Every ace is killed with a surprise attack or undodgeable shot for reliability, utilizing tanks, Grenadiers, and scouts. Claude moves West, knocks out the nearby shock, and kills the first ace. Claude continues West, veering South to avoid facing the crouched shock to the North.

Turn 1 (t1): Rosetta moves West and spots enemies behind fences. Connor advances and destroys all enemies behind fences. The rest of the team moves South and captures the first base, positioning to intercept an incoming Scout. Simon does not need to be retreated immediately.

Turn 2 (t2): Azusa distracts Raz and the nearby shock, allowing Zaiga, Connor, and Rita to advance and defeat all targets. Rita repositions Azusa, takes Zaiga Southwest, leaves him by the truck, and captures the second base. Rita then returns behind the truck to intercept Minerva. Zaiga repositions next to Rita for interception. Simon can be moved South to assist interception.

Turn 3 (t3): After Minerva is defeated, Riley will advance and recapture the second camp. Be very careful and precise with unit positioning behind the truck, as Riley can easily spot units through it due to glitchy terrain. There is little safe area where she won't spot your units and fire on them. Riley will be located at the second camp facing South, making a surprise attack easy. The team defeats all enemies in their path to the third camp and hides. Simon and Hanna are deployed from the third camp. Connor disrupts the grenadier on the cliff by hitting the crate next to it.

Turn 4 (t4): Connor disrupts Riley, then advances Southwest to defeat Minerva and distract/knock off Raz and the shock on the main enemy camp. Rita uses direct command to move Simon and Hanna down the ladder towards the main enemy camp, resupplying Connor and clearing his path. Rita is available if Connor runs out of ammo. Once the camp is softened, Simon advances to defeat Raz and take a shot at Kai if command points are available. With all other leaders defeated, Hanna climbs the ladder, defeats Claude, and captures. Kai is shot at from a right angle behind a solid fence, so even if she counterattacks, the bullet will likely not hit Simon. A surprise attack from this position might be possible if the shock looking at Simon is defeated. Do not risk it if not confident.
