Skirmish 2 Challenge (2t) - The Dream Team

The Vulcan can be destroyed on turn 1 or 2. Unlike many difficult skirmishes, there are no unbreakable fences forcing you to deal with generic enemies; bosses, aces, tanks, and leaders are placed conveniently. In the video example, the only generic enemy killed is a Gatling turret next to the Valkyria. To give this mission a fair challenge, you might need to leave the Vulcan alive and kill every enemy on the map.

Turn 1: Snipers hit the Valkyria's staff so she kills the enemy Ace on the enemy turn. Riley destroys the Vulcan using 10 shots and one resupply. Claude fires smoke to protect the main camp from other enemy activity.

Turn 2: The APC picks up some units and heads to the middle of the map. Units are deployed to destroy all remaining tanks, leaders, and the boss. Eileen was intended to get a double kill but missed.

Skirmish 3 Challenge (3t) - Blitzkrieg on the Canal

This skirmish is the most difficult of the three, despite lacking a damage multiplier gimmick or two bosses. The general strategy involves loading 3 Grenadiers, an Engineer, and a Lancer into the APC and heading for the goal. The left path is easiest initially but becomes closed to vehicles after turn one due to a mortar that breaks the ice. The two leader tanks on the left have harmless mortar and flamethrower turrets relative to vehicles. Spotting and killing enemy Grenadiers is crucial; learn their locations. On enemy turn 2, if you've been killing enemy leaders, the AI may not have enough command points to act with all its units, leading to more random enemy activity.

The first important infantry is a scout near the main Allied camp that will approach and attack. In the video, this scout moves and attacks but causes no damage due to deployment and Claude's position. The second important infantry is a shock trooper near the snow bank by the two heavy tanks in the northern part of the map. This shock trooper might advance towards crouched enemy snipers or stay put. If it stays put, you can generally avoid it; if it advances, it must be killed.

Turn 1: Claude destroys the snowbank and positions for the potential incoming scout. The Grenadiers and Engineer clear out three cannons and an enemy Grenadier, then prepare to be picked up by the APC. The APC picks everyone up. The Grenadier on the left behind the snowbank is spotted and killed. The APC drives behind the assault tank leaders, and your Lancer deploys to destroy the one with the mortar cannon. The remaining flamethrower tank poses no threat to the APC, so you can end the turn next to it.

Turn 2: The Lancer destroys both tanks while spotting a Grenadier leader, which Riley kills. The APC opens the snow bank and hides. Grenadiers begin killing the crouched snipers and scout. Killing the scout isn't necessary but makes taking no damage easier in this map section. The APC opens the snow bank and then hides.

Turn 3: Any remaining snipers are killed. If a shock trooper is in the way, it is at least disrupted from crouching. The cannon near the heavy tanks is destroyed, clearing the way for the APC to advance. The APC can finish off the shock trooper if it's still alive and then proceed to spot the next Grenadier. The APC picks up the anti-armor Grenadier but leaves an anti-personnel Grenadier behind to kill the spotted Grenadier. Once that situation is resolved, the Lancer is deployed to destroy the two tanks while the APC kills the scout and moves north. The anti-armor mortar Grenadier is deployed again to destroy the Northwest Gatling. The Engineer is deployed to carry the Lancer west to the ace tank while completing various objectives. After the ace tank is destroyed, capture the main camp.

Edy's Advance Ops (2t)

This mission is accessed using a save file after clearing chapter 1 but before clearing chapter 2. No squad stories are unlocked. This is the earliest you can access this mission.

Turn 1: Kai and Aladdin perform a team attack on the sniper on the windmill. Laurent fires a quadruple team attack against the nearby light tank. Claude kills the nearby Engineer and positions to intercept incoming enemies.

Turn 2: Riley destroys the scout in the middle of the map. Claude advances and kills the shock trooper. Laurent team attacks with Claude to destroy the second tank. Claude mortars the far Engineer and blocks one of the Gatling turrets. Riley then fires on the two scout leaders. This clears the way for Curtis to reach the base and capture, while finishing off any surviving scout leaders. You have 1 command point spare.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 No Reload C.Run DLC Squad 7 Missions 1-3 (3/4/3t)

Squad 7 mission 1 (3t) - Team Building

These missions are played using a book save file earlier in this run, after clearing chapter 1 but before clearing chapter 2. No squad stories are unlocked. This is the earliest you can access this mission. This is a simple mission requiring 3 turns to destroy all tanks and leaders on the map before capturing the last camp.

Squad 7 mission 2 (4t) - Two Fronts

Send Rosie to the Northwest Camp, Largo to the west camp, and Welkin and Alicia to cut through the east side of the map to the south camp.
